This list is comprised of all sorts of restaurants from the upscale to the whimsical that are sure to augment your Walt Disney World Vacation experience.

**Reservations are highly recommended and, in some cases, necessary for locations below

Disney’s Boardwalk:

This is a great place to spend an evening. It’s located next to two parks (you can walk here from Epcot or take a boat from Hollywood Studios) and behind Disney’s Boardwalk, Yacht, and Beach Club hotels. The Boardwalk has street performers. You can visit Jellyroll’s which is a duelling piano bar and AbracadaBar, a magic bar.

Top picks for restaurants:

  1. Flying Fish – this is an American/ Seafood restaurant. I’ve eaten here and it’s one of the best meals I’ve ever had at WDW. It does have a dress code:

Guests are asked to adhere to the minimum dress code requirements at this Signature Dining experience. Dressier attire is also welcome. Please explore the minimum dress code requirements:

Men must wear khakis, slacks or dress shorts and collared shirts. Jeans may be worn if in good condition. Sport coats are optional.

Women must wear Capri pants, skirts, dresses or dress shorts. Jeans may be worn if in good condition.

Not permitted are tank tops, flip-flops, swimsuits, swimsuit cover-ups, hats for gentlemen, cut-offs, torn clothing and t-shirts with offensive language and/or graphics.

2. Trattoria Al Forno – Casual Italian eatery.

If you visit at Breakfast time, it has a character breakfast with some of Disney’s favourites such as Ariel, Prince Eric, Rapunzel, and Flynn Rider.

The Magic Kingdom:

  1. Cinderella’s Castle – great food, a picture taken with Cinderella, princesses visit you right at your table, and you get to eat in a castle!

2. Be Our Guest – a must do for Beauty and the Beast Fans. You dine in the castle (either the west wing, ballroom, or library). Great for either breakfast, lunch, or dinner. Breakfast and lunch are quick service meals, while dinner is table service. Belle and the Beast are present at dinner.

3. Liberty Tree Tavern – great food served family style, recommended for 2 or more people.

Epcot:

  1. San Angel Inn Restaurante – located in Mexico. Great Mexican food and this restaurant overlooks the start of the Three Amigos ride inside the Mayan Temple.

  2. Restaurant Marrakesh – delicious Moroccan food with live entertainment (belly dancers and musicians).

  3. Le Cellier Steakhouse – located in the Canadian Pavilion, a cozy cellar in a Canadian Chateau serving steak and seafood.

  4. Biergarten Restaurant – celebrate Octoberfest year-round with authentic German cuisine and lively entertainment. Located in Germany.

  5. Coral Reef Restaurant – Enjoy great food with specular views of a living coral reef and the sea animals that call it home.

  6. Teppan Edo – Every seat has a great view of Teppan chefs cooking traditional Japanese dishes.

  7. Via Napoli Ristorante E Pizzeria – authentic Italian cooking and pizza done in wood-burning ovens.

  8. Tutto Italia Ristorante- Delight in warm service and traditional favorites at this Italian Restaurant.

Hollywood Studios:

  1. Mama Melrose Ristorante Italiano – Casual Italian eatery with a Californian twist.

  2. Sci Fi Dine In Theatre Restaurant – Dinner and a show at this 50s style drive in theatre featuring all American cuisine and sci-fi movie clips.

  3. 50s Prime Time Café – such a fun experience! Classic American comfort food served in an old fashion 50’s themed house. Be careful not to put your elbows on the table or your server will get after you!

Animal Kingdom:

  1. Yak & Yeti Restaurant – this restaurant offers pan-Asian food in a beautiful Nepalese – style setting.

Resort Hotels:

Disney’s Polynesian Resort:

  1. ‘Ohana – this is another favorite of mine. A delicious meal of Hawaiian specialties in a Polynesian setting. If you visit at breakfast, you’ll see Lilo and Stitch as part of the character breakfast.

  2. Disney’s Spirit of Aloha Dinner Show - Enjoy an enchanting luau with Polynesian dancing and an all-you-care-to-enjoy, family-style feast.

*When visiting this resort, make sure to check out Trader Sam’s Tiki bar for very cool drinks and a cool setting. You can also stick around to watch the Magic Kingdom’s fireworks from the Polynesian’s beach and then watch the water light show parade (either before or after the fireworks depending on the day).

Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort:

  1. Afternoon Tea at the Garden view Tea Room – I loved doing this! Have a traditional English tea service complete with a varied selection of teas, finger sandwiches, and sweets.
